(To a friend who found Jesus in my abence)
Dark, dark, dark,
We were both sooo lost,
You in the torrential familial waters
Me in the abyss of self-crash
Stranded, strangled,
No struggle seemed good enough
Unless it was with the metro rails
or a loop of rope. Alas!
But you suddenly knelt and prayed,
i stood wordless as the rope broke.
Then, there was light.
We were saved, resurrected.
Gratefully i laugh out loud as usual,
In your wisdom still enlightened by His
You whisper across the ocean,
Being natural is divine
